2011 brings the addition of new performance measures and the expiration of others. Providers must be sure to use the measure specifications for the correct program year and method of reporting.
CMS is currently accepting suggestions for 2012 PQRS measures and groups, and is interested in measures endorsed by the National Quality Forum (NQF). For more information on submitting suggestion measures, visit http://www.cms.gov/MMS/13_CallForMeasures.asp#TopOfPage. The deadline for submissions is 5 PM EST, December 17, 2010.
CMS will also host a Town Hall meeting on February 9, 2011 from 10 AM – 4 PM EST. Participants can take part via conference call or webinar. Log-in and call-in information will be provided on the Doctor to Doctor Blog as soon as it becomes available.
