The 2nd annual Mission Cataract Day will take place this coming Saturday, May 18, 2013, in Jacksonville, North Carolina. This event is supported by Mission Cataract USA, Onslow Memorial Hospital, and Onslow Ophthalmology, P.A. at Office Park Eye Center. The event offers free cataract surgery to area residents who cannot afford to pay for the surgery themselves.

The event’s sponsors and supporters are hoping to generate some interest in other practices that might be able to provide services in their specialties and in their hometowns.
