The North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) is encouraging those who provide care to Medicaid patients to review the deadlines for transition from the old Medicaid Management Information System (MMIS) and other legacy claims processing systems used by DHHS to NC Tracks, which is slated to go live on July 1.

The Special Bulletin  contains a list of deadlines leading up to the transition. Some deadlines are as early as May 10. Anyone with claims still pending after July 1 will have to resubmit those claims, DHHS warns. More information is available here.
