The American Telemedicine Association (ATA) this week expressed concerns about proposed rules for Accountable Care Organizations (ACOs). In a six-page letter to CMS Administrator Donald M. Berwick, MD, the ATA described the proposed rules as “restriction riddled,” not allowing Medicare reimbursement for more than 12 tele-health-supported services.
