I had heard a rumor we are going to have to expend more time and effort in reconnecting with the NC HIE. We have been connected and up and running with the HIE for over 2 years and it took a lot of work with the HIE and my EHR provider Allscripts to get this to work right and be bi-directional. Are we going to have to go through that process again now that the state owns the system? and who would pay for this?
