In December 2009, the NCMS filed a settlement compliance dispute against Blue Cross and Blue Shield of North Carolina (BCBSNC) in reference to a contract addendum that BCBSNC issued last year. BCBSNC, with input from the NCMS and other organizations, recently crafted a more acceptable addendum, leading the NCMS to dismiss the compliance dispute.
