On Thursday, October 28, 2010, the Buncombe County Medical Society (BCMS) hosted a large crowd of physicians at the Asheville Double Tree hotel for a local political forum. A dozen candidates for North Carolina’s General Assembly were in attendance and answered questions regarding their support for tort reform, improved Medicaid payment rates, state mental health services and how to improve quality of care in North Carolina.
