As reported in previous issues of the Bulletin, the NCMS has organized the North Carolinians for Affordable Health Care (NCAHC) to help educate the public about the need for meaningful medical liability reform in North Carolina. Now that the NC House has passed
SB 33 – Medical Lawsuit Reform, our challenge continues as the bill proceeds to the Senate.

Announcements are running statewide on television and radio to counter the messages put forth by trial attorneys about the real costs of medical liability litigation.
