The Accreditation Review Commission on Education for the Physician Assistant (ARC-PA) has granted provisional accreditation status to the PA program sponsored by Campbell University in Buies Creek, NC. Classes for the 28-month program will start this August. Campbell officials report that the number of applications is nearly nine times the 32 seats available for the first class. The provisional status is limited to no more than three years but does indicate the program is moving toward meeting ARC-PA Standards, if implemented as planned.
