Attestation for the Medicare EHR Incentive Program opened April 18, 2011. More information is available at the new Attestation page on the CMS Website.
On May 19, 2:30 – 3:45 pm, CMS will host a National Provider Call on the Medicare and Medicaid EHR Incentive Programs: Understanding Meaningful Use. This event will seek to educate physicians and other providers on the requirements for meaningful use and how to attest to having met meaningful use.
The agenda includes:
- The definition of meaningful use
- The requirements for Stage 1 of meaningful use (2011 and 2012)
- How to attest to having met meaningful use
- Overview of the meaningful use objectives specification sheets
- Q&A about meaningful use
