The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) Regional Offices will offer a webinar on Version 5010 on Wednesday, June 20, 2012, 10:00 am – 11:00 am, to discuss Version 5010 standards and the approaching enforcement discretionary period, which takes effect June 30, 2012. Version 5010 refers to the revised set of HIPAA electronic transaction standards adopted to replace the current Version 4010/4010A standards adopted by CMS.
