Physicians are urged to review and comment on the proposed Medicaid policy on the Pregnancy Medical Home (PMH) by the NC Division of Medical Assistance (DMA).

The proposal can be viewed and comments submitted here until January 31, 2011. DMA developed the PMH concept working with Community Care of NC and the Division of Public Health. More general information can be found at http://www.ncdhhs.gov/dma/services/pmh.htm.

DMA has announced that, starting in March, it will hold seminars on the Pregnancy Medical Home, with more details to be announced in February (see http://www.ncdhhs.gov/dma/bulletin/0111bulletin.htm#pmh).
