Cutting through the Confusion and Obfuscation over Health System Reform

Debate over health system reform continues as Congress considers proposals in the House and Senate. More amendments and changes are likely when lawmakers return to Capitol Hill following the Labor Day Holiday in September.  The New York Times recently published an article that provides an overview of legislation now on the table, A Primer on Health Care Reform, by Robert Pear and David M. Herszenhorn. Read the article at:

We invite you to review the Guiding Principles for Health System Reform, adopted by the NCM Board of Directors in May, 2009, and to view the letter sent to the North Carolina Congressional Delegation outlining the NCMS’ position on health system reform.

We also encourage you to participate in the Doctor to Doctor blog, offering your views and comments about the issues surrounding health system reform.
