Delaney Radiologists Encourages Employee Wellness Partnering with the NCMS Plan Practice Wellness Initiative

“At Delaney Radiologists we believe that our employees are our greatest asset. We are happy to partner with the NCMS Plan to develop a Practice Wellness initiative to help us promote our commitment to wellness through healthier lifestyle choices,” says Paula Oathout, Practice Administrator. “Our program encourages employees by promoting better nutrition, preventive health care, exercise, tobacco cessation and proper disease management.”

Delaney Radiologists of Wilmington has provided on-site biometric screening, nutritional counseling, cardiac risk assessment, a health fair and flu clinic as well as encouraged each employee to complete the online health assessment and to attend a healthy living seminar.

The practice will continue to strive for a healthier workforce by providing support, encouragement and education to staff through promotion of ongoing wellness opportunities. The NCMS grant program will enable Delaney to promote healthier living among employees and continue to maintain the 100 percent employer paid health insurance benefit.
