Doctors, Nurses and Other Volunteers Needed for NC C.A.R.E Clinic

Volunteers, both medical and non-medical, are needed to take part in a free health care event on Tuesday, December 7, 2010 at the Charlotte (NC) Convention Center. Sponsored by the National Association of Free Clinics (NAFC) and the NC Association of Free Clinics, the C.A.R.E. (Communities Are Responding Everyday) Clinic will provide free medical care to the Charlotte area’s uninsured.

Health care professionals from all specialties will be needed. Non-medical volunteer opportunities include clerical, translation, greeters and logistics. . Volunteers are also needed to help set up the clinic on December 6.

Different shifts are being offered for volunteers who can only work at the clinic part of the day: 

All Day               9:00am – 8:00pm

First Shift          9:00am – 3:00pm

Second Shift     2:00pm – 8:00pm

Third Shift         4:00pm – 8:00pm **
