Nearly 175 people were on hand September 16, when the Parkinson Association of the Carolinas presented Yogesh Patel, MD, with the prestigious Bill and Betty Ray Award for his outstanding support and service to people with Parkinson Disease. Dr. Patel was himself diagnosed with Parkinson Disease. The award was presented during the Association’s annual educational and fundraising luncheon at the Charlotte Country Club. Dr. Patel is an internist with Ardsley Internal Medicine in Davidson, NC.
