Alumni of the Duke Physician Assistant Program joined students, faculty and staff in celebrating National PA Week in October.  NCMS Past President E. Harvey Estes, Jr., MD, one of the founders of the PA program, was among those who spoke at the celebration. Also speaking were Edward G. Buckley, MD, Vice Dean of the Duke School of Medicine, and Truls Ostbye, MD, PhD, Vice Chair, Department of Community and Family Medicine. The 2010 Duke PA Hall of Fame Inductees were Jean L. Mesaros, PharmD, BCPS and Nelson Myers, PA-C.
