Palmetto Government Benefits Administrators (GBA) has announced their 2012 Fall Tour Workshop series to discuss Medicare coverage and billing updates, as well as clinical and documentation information affecting Medicare healthcare professionals. The target audience includes Part A hospital and skilled nursing facility (SNF) professionals and all Part B specialties.

This workshop series is recommended for clinicians, administrators, billers, nurses and other healthcare professionals that submit claims to Medicare. The workshop will provide insight for new, intermediate or advanced staff. Healthcare professionals new to Medicare should attend online learning courses for beginners.

Featured speakers will include Palmetto’s Provider Outreach and Education department staff and Medical Review department staff.

Specific meeting locations and dates are posted on the Palmetto GBA Part B Event Registration Portal. Space is limited and varies by location. Registration is free on a first come, first served basis.
