Boyd K. Honeycutt, MD, formerly a Medicare Director with CIGNA Medicare, has joined Rose Shattuck and Associates, LLC, Raleigh, as a staff consultant focusing on RAC, CERT, OIG, DOJ audits, offering a physician’s perspective on the importance of correct coding and documentation, and teaching practices how to work with Medicare.

Susan K. Burden, MD, Winston-Salem, has been selected to participate in the 2011-2012 class of the American Academy of Ophthalmology’s (AAO) Leadership Development Program. Dr. Burden is Secretary-Treasurer of the North Carolina Society of Eye Physicians and Surgeons (NCSEPS).
