HealthCampRDU to Look at Changing Face of Health Care

HealthCampRDU, hosted by Blue Cross Blue Shield of North Carolina (BCBSNC), aims to be a highly-collaborative, day-long conference with a focus on issues and opportunities related to the changing face of health care. Health industry experts and thought leaders, practitioners, health systems, consumers, developers, disease charities, insurers, technologists, journalists, entrepreneurs, bloggers, and government and academic institutions will converge to openly exchange views and ideas in a think-tank atmosphere on a variety of topics including mobile health (compliance, activity recording, consumer support at point of care), telemedicine (eVisits, ePrescribing and online care) and social health (crowd sourcing and shared wisdom).

The event will be held on Friday, May 14, 2010 at the BCBSNC UP2 facility in Durham. Map included at registration site, http://healthcamprdu.org/.

Among the participants who’ve already committed are Cisco, Medco, ECU Telemedicine, Duke University Medical Center, RTI International, Wego Health, UnitedHealthCare and Healthy Circles. There’ll also be a few traditional keynotes, and breakout sessions will give participants the opportunity to vote on what they want to hear/talk about.

Consider suggesting a topic if you’re interested in speaking at one of the breakout sessions. Click here to submit a topic on the Uservoice page.

Spread the word about this event to any colleagues and contacts you may have that you think should be involved and could add to the conversation. You can also find it on Twitter (@healthcamprdu), Facebook and LinkedIn!
