Lean Healthcare 200: Applying the Fundamentals is two full days of hands-on learning, equipping participants with practical tools and strategies to make significant and sustainable cultural changes within their organizations for the new healthcare environment. Classes are scheduled for September 13-14, 2011, in Wilmington, and November 8-9, 2011, in Winston-Salem. No prior Lean training or experience is required. Creating a Fair and Just Culture: An Introduction, is a workshop designed by the NC Center for Hospital Quality and Patient Safety to provide an introductory overview to the Just Culture model and concepts. It will be held on Tuesday, August 23, 2011, 8:00 am – 4:30pm, North Carolina Hospital Center, 2400 Weston Parkway, Cary. The Just Cultures concept seeks to provide a system of shared accountability in managing risks within health care. Registration closes August 9, 2011. Click here, to register.
