CMS Provider Call regarding Stage 2 requirements for the Medicare and Medicaid Electronic Health Record (EHR) incentive programs will be held on Monday, March 12, 2012, 12:30 pm – 2:00 pm. The call will discuss the changes and requirements in the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) proposed rule for Stage 2 and will help health care providers understand what is needed to receive EHR incentive payments. NCMS Foundation E-Prescribing and CMS webinar, which is also sponsored by the North Carolina Medical Group Managers (NCMGM), will be held on Wednesday, March 14, 2012, 12: 00 pm – 1:00 pm. The webinar will feature Kim Roberts, PharmD, Community Care of North Carolina (CCNC) E-prescribing Program Manager, and will provide updates on e-prescribing controlled substances and an overview of the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) e-prescribing requirements for incentives and payment adjustments.
