‘Cracking the Codes: Getting it Right—Immunization Coding and Payment’ webinar, offered by Sanofi Pasteur, is now available online. This complimentary webinar provides a review of correct coding for vaccination billing to ensure entitled payment. The webinar covers reporting and documentation requirements for decreased financial liability and tips for a successful vaccine business model.

East Carolina University (ECU) Brody School of Medicine is offering three new CME courses in October and November. The first, “Recent Developments in Internal Medicine,” will be held October 18-20, 2012 at the Coral Bay Club in Atlantic Beach. On October 26, 2012, ECU will hold a Geriatrics conference at the East Carolina Heart Institute in Greenville. Also at the Heart Institute, there will be a Lung Cancer Conference on November 9, 2012. University of Kansas Medical Center Movement Disorder Review Course will be held on Saturday, November 10, 2012 at Charlotte Marriott City Center, Charlotte, NC. The program will review diagnosis of Parkinsonism, restless leg syndrome, tremor disorders, movement disorders in psychiatry, hyperkinetic disorders, neurotoxin therapy, and deep brain stimulation. North Carolina Academy of Sleep Medicine Annual Meeting will be held Saturday-Sunday, November 17-18, 2012 at the William and Ida Friday Center for Continuing Education. The objective of the meeting is to discuss current trends affecting the practice of sleep medicine, identify emerging practice trends of sleep medicine, and describing specialty therapies such as behavioral sleep medicine.
