A medical team assisting Haitians at Lopital Bon Samaritan, Haiti, (about an hour’s drive from Cap Haitian) is seeking additional physicians and nurses to help with a growing number of cholera cases. NCMS member Steven Landau, MD, also a member of the Raleigh-based Haiti Connection, says he has been informed that the team is experiencing 10% mortality rates among patients and is in need of medical assistance.
