NC HRQA Training Rescheduled; Patient-Centered Medical Home Focus of April NCQA Conference

A two-day conference featuring NC Quality Assessment faculty and state leaders has been rescheduled for March 17-18, 2011. Health Reform and Quality Assessment (HRQA): The National Landscape and State Response had been scheduled for December but was postponed due to weather. Those who registered for the December conference are automatically enrolled in the March event, which will take place at the Mountain Area Health Education Center (MAHEC) in Asheville. Those who still wish to register are welcome to do so before the close of registration on March 13, 2011.

Facilitating Patient-Centered Medical Home Recognition: A Hands-On Approach and Analysis Through NCQA’s Eyes is scheduled for April 7-8, 2011 at MAHEC in Asheville. The program is designed for any health care professional or consultant interested in getting the inside perspective directly from NCQA experts in evaluating primary care practice and their ability to become Recognized as a Patient-Centered Medical Home by NCQA.
