The NC Industrial Commission (NCIC) this week adopted the Correct Coding Initiative (CCI) Edits for workers’ compensation, which are effective January 1, 2010. You can read the NCIC Minutes (pdf) from the December 8 meeting concerning this important change to the NCIC Explanation of Fee Schedule.
The NCIC Utilization Task Force will meet on Monday, December 14, 2009, and the Medical Fee Taskforce Meeting (conference call) is scheduled for January 21, 2010.
