NC MD Calls on Ophthalmologists to “Work Together Like A Family”

The outgoing president of the American Academy of Ophthalmology (AAP), Michael W. Brennan, MD, of Burlington, NC, called for ophthalmologists “to work together like a family, both with colleagues and the community at large,” during a speech at a joint meeting of the AAP and Pan-American Association of Ophthalmology in San Francisco this week.  Dr. Brennan also encouraged physicians “to reach across the subspecialty divide and to form alliances with international colleagues through collaboration and innovation.”   Read more here. Dr. Brennan is co-founder of the NCMS Leadership College, along with Elizabeth P.
