NC Society of Pathologists Announces Annual Meeting Focusing on Gastrointestinal Pathology

The NC Society of Pathologists announces its 2011 Annual Meeting, Friday-Saturday, April 8-9, at the Ballantyne Hotel in Charlotte. The program offers 6.5 hours of CME credit and features keynote speaker Gregory Lauwers, MD, Director of Surgical Pathology and Gastrointestinal Pathology Service, Massachusetts General Hospital and Harvard Medical School. Dr. Lauwers will give presentations on Gastric Neoplasia, Gastritis, and Barrett’s Esophagus.

Additional presentation topics include Serrated Intestinal Polyps, Molecular Diagnostics Applications in Gastrointestinal Pathology, Donations of Electronic Health Record Systems, a Medicare Part B Update, and 2011 Legislative and Regulatory Update.
