The North Carolina Alliance for Healthy Communities (NCAHC) 10th Annual Conference will focus on Patient Centered Medical Home Impact on North Carolina. The conference is scheduled for Thursday, October 7, 2010, 8:30am – 3:00pm at the Grandover Resort and Conference Center in Greensboro.
Warren Newton, MD, Executive Associate Dean for Education at the UNC School of Medicine will be the keynote speaker. Other presenters include R.W. “Chip” Watkins, MD, President of the NC Academy of Family Physicians; Alison Eisenhart, PharmD, BCPS Specialty Pharmacy Clinical Manager, Kerr Health; Grace Terrell, MD, MMM, CPE, FACPE, FACP, CEO, President of Cornerstone Healthcare; Larry Fox, Director, Network Quality, Blue Cross Blue Shield of NC; and Nan Holland, Senior Director, Clinical Excellence, Novant Medical Group. The conference will conclude with a panel discussion featuring Dr. Watkins, Dr. Eisenhart, Dr. Terrell, Mr. Fox and Ms. Holland.
