NCMS CEO Robert Seligson was pleased to be a part of the launch of a new statewide wellness campaign called “A Healthier NC” on April 18. NCMS has been a huge supporter of the initiative, which is challenging 1 million state residents to engage in 15 million hours of activity to lose 10 million pounds.

Part of the strategy to reach this wellness goal is to publicize state leaders speaking about their commitment to “A Healthier NC.” U.S. Senator Richard Burr stopped by the fitness center housed at the NCMS headquarters in downtown Raleigh last month to videotape his testimonial on the initiative. A video of our own Mr. Seligson was just posted on the “A Healthier NC” website.
