NCMS Joins Piedmont Health in Celebrating National Health Center Week

August 9 – 13 is National Health Center Week, and the North Carolina Medical Society will observe the occasion by helping Piedmont Health Services (PHS) celebrate its 40th Anniversary. Based in Carrboro, PHS offers comprehensive health care through clinics located in Orange, Alamance, Chatham, Guilford and Person Counties. PHS is widely recognized as a cost effective approach to providing comprehensive, quality health care to a large number of patients, even from outside the counties where clinics are located. NCMS EVP, CEO Robert Seligson will join PHS CEO Brian Toomey on Wednesday, August 11, to recognize the clinic’s 40 years of service and to recognize PHS physicians who have been part of the NCMS Foundation’s Community Practitioner Program.

During the week, NCMS will be providing updates on its Doctor to Doctor Blog, along with other special reports on the NCMS website.
