NCMS Leaders Gain Insight into Health System Reform During AMA Advocacy Conference

NCMS President John R. Mangum, MD, talked with members of the North Carolina Congressional Delegation during the AMA Advocacy Conference in Washington, D.C. this week, gaining first-hand knowledge about the implementation of the health care reform law and what NCMS members will need to know as various provisions take effect. Accompanied by NCMS EVP, CEO Robert W. Seligson, Dr. Mangum visited with Sen. Kay Hagan (D, NC), Sen. Richard Burr (R, NC), Rep. Walter B. Jones (R, Farmville), Rep. Patrick T. McHenry (R, Cherryville), Rep. Howard Coble (R, Greensboro ), Rep. Renee L. Ellmers (R, Dunn) and several others.
