The NCMS Leadership College Spring Session is underway in Cary, NC.  Leadership College sessions will be held concurrently with the NCMS Board meeting and a leadership development meeting with the NCMS Past Presidents. Special guest speaker for the joint session is Ronald A. Paulus, MD, MBA, President and CEO of Mission Health. Dr. Paulus will share his experience with innovations to improve quality and efficiencies in healthcare.

Topics of discussion on this weekend’s agenda include developing leadership roles in communities and clinical settings, clinical quality, new models of health care, legislative updates, spokesperson training, and physician-executive relationships.

Many of the faculty members for this session are Leadership College Alumni who participated in instructional design, facilitation and coaching training provided by the Center for Creative Leadership in Greensboro. The alumni training opportunity is funded by a grant from the Physicians Foundation.
