NCMS PAC Donors: Learn How Your Contributions Assist the Practice of Medicine during 2012 Fall Road Shows

This September, members of the NCMS Government Affairs team will be traveling throughout North Carolina to give briefings on the success of the NCMS Political Action Committee (PAC). These discussions will focus on our contributions, as well as how and why we decide to make them. The NCMS Government Affairs team also will look at the PAC’s success rate, the distribution of funds by party, region, leadership status, and much more. Members can expect a very comprehensive analysis and explanation of NCMS PAC objectives, and how your contributions are used.

You don’t want to miss out on these events. Only PAC donors will be invited to attend. Locations have not been finalized, but they will likely be held in the 14 most populous counties in North Carolina. Event details will be provided as the Society finalizes the schedule.

If you are interested in attending and have not had a chance to make a PAC contribution, please, do it now. By supporting your PAC, you are supporting your profession. Every North Carolinian has the right to participate in our political process, not only by voting, but by making monetary investments too. Participating in the PAC is an opportunity that members should not turn down. Having this chance is what makes our Country and State great.
