Craig Burkhart, MD, lives and practices Dermatology in Chapel Hill. A member of his state, county, and specialty societies, Dr. Burkhart is very involved in the medical community. One of the ways that Dr. Burkhart stays active in the North Carolina Medical Society is through his service on the Legislative Cabinet. In that role, he helps the Medical Society decide their legislative priorities for the year.
PAC involvement provides the link between the NCMS and elected officials that support our views. Since he joined the North Carolina Medical Society, Dr. Burkhart has been a PAC donor. He understands how having a strong PAC effects the legislative agenda, especially since becoming a member of the Legislative Cabinet.
