Earlier this year, a delegation from the North Carolina Neurological Society (NCNS) participated in the American Academy of Neurology’s “Neurology on the Hill” event.  Alan Finkel, MD, of Chapel Hill; Michael Kushner, MD, of Rocky Mount; Robert Yapundich, MD, of Hickory; and Alan Skipper, NCNS Executive Director, met with North Carolina representatives and their staff and addressed issues that included Medicare reimbursement and National Institutes of Health (NIH) research funding.
