More Opportunities to Weigh In on Medicaid Reform with Secretary Wos

The NC Department of Health and Human Secretary Aldona Wos is seeking your input on the McCrory Administration’s plan to reform the state’s Medicaid program. Plan to attend one in your area to let the Secretary know what their proposed move to managed care organizations means to you. Five meetings are scheduled so far — in Greensboro, Reidsville, Durham, Greenville and Winston-Salem.

The meeting in Greensboro will be held on Thursday, May 9, from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. on the second floor of the  Old Guilford County Courthouse,  301 W. Market St., Greensboro. Seating is limited, so arrive early.

The meeting in Reidsville will be held on Friday, May 10, from 11 a.m. to noon at Womankind Center, Annie Penn Hospital, Fourth Floor, 618 S. Main St., Reidsville. RSVP to http://ncdhhs-reidsville.eventbrite.com/ or [email protected].

The meeting in Durham will be held on Wednesday, May 15, beginning at 4 p.m. at the Durham Hilton, 3800 Hillsborough Road, Durham. Please RSVP with names of attendees to [email protected].

The meeting in Winston-Salem will be held on Thursday, May 16, beginning with a reception from 6-7 p.m. and the program from 7-8:30 p.m., at the Forsyth Medical Center Conference Center, 3333 Silas Creek Parkway, Winston-Salem.
