Triangle-area pediatricians answered questions from 386 viewers in a two-hour Doctors on Call event hosted by WRAL-TV in Raleigh on Tuesday, June 28. Jointly sponsored by the NCMS and the NC Pediatric Society, the call-in aired during the station’s evening news block, allowing viewers to talk with a physician at no charge. NCMS member Allen G. Mask, MD hosted the program. Sixty-eight percent of the callers were in the 30 to 59 age range, with women making 84 percent of the calls.
