NCMS Deputy General Counsel Melanie Phelps was elected President of the North Carolina Society of Health Care Attorneys (NCSHCA) at the organization’s annual meeting in Chapel Hill on September 10, 2010.  Her term is for one year. NCSHCA is a non-profit, professional organization representing health care attorneys across the state.
