The official version of the CMS proposed regulation on the criteria for meaningful use of electronic health records (EHR) incentives was published in the federal register this week. In an effort to provide understandable information on this 550 page regulation, the AMA in cooperation with the NCMS, is seeking your input on the proposed requirements and providing the following documents:
Regulation Fact Sheet: The AMA has a prepared a short document that describes the highlights of meaningful use regulation. A more detailed document will be made available in the future.
Meaningful Use Feedback Form: Your feedback is wanted on the top five most problematic issues with the meaningful use regulation. Given the volume of input that is expected, the AMA has developed a one page document for you to complete, so the AMA can include your concerns in its comments.
