The North Carolina Medical Society is hosting a Physician Town Hall in Charlotte on Wednesday, January 19, 2011, 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm, at the Charlotte Marriott at Southpark. Physicians will have an opportunity to talk with presumptive Speaker of the NC House Thom Tillis (R, Mecklenburg). The NCMS urges you to attend to discuss legislative priorities and challenges as the General Assembly prepares to convene on January 26, 2011.

This event is Charlotte is similar to a town hall meeting held this past week at the Proximity Hotel in Greensboro.  Over 80 physicians, PAs and medical staff attended this event featuring presumptive Senate President Pro-Tempore Phil Berger (R, Guilford-Rockingham) on Thursday, January 13, 2011.
