Former NCMS Foundation Community Practitioner Program partcipant Paul E. Trani, MD, a pediatrician at the Blue Ridge Community Health Services in Hendersonville, was recognized by the North Carolina Community Health Center Association (NCCHCA) with the Outstanding Provider Award (Read more here).

NCMS Leadership College alumnae P. Shannon Hopson, DO, an endocrinologist in Gastonia, was appointed by Governor Beverly Perdue to the Governor’s Task Force on Healthy Carolinians, which is charged with developing health objectives for North Carolina (Read the news release).
