The North Carolina Medical Society is hosting two Physician Town Halls this month, allowing physicians to talk with legislative leaders as the General Assembly prepares to convene on January 26, 2011. The NCMS urges you to attend one of these events to discuss legislative priorities and challenges in the 2011 session.

Physicians in the Greensboro/Guilford County area will have an opportunity to talk with presumptive Senate President Pro-Tempore Phil Berger (R, Guilford-Rockingham) on Thursday, January 13, 2011, 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm, at The Proximity Hotel.  Doctors in the Charlotte/Mecklenburg County region will be talking with presumptive Speaker of the House Thom Tillis (R, Mecklenburg) on Wednesday, January 19, 2011, 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm, at the Charlotte Marriott, Southpark.
