Online publication The Hill reported this week that a new Zogby International-University of Texas Health Science Center poll found that more than half of the respondents wanted lawmakers to start from scratch on health care reform legislation. More than 2,500 people were surveyed from January 29 to February 1, 2010, with 57 percent saying Congress should start over. Read the story here.
A recent NCMS survey of members found most physicians favor health care reform, but they do not support legislation that is currently being considered in the U.S. House and Senate. The NCMS is committed to its long-standing position that changes are needed in health care delivery.
