“Chasin’ the Challenge” is a run-to-walk in honor of Chase Mann and to benefit NTAF-South Atlantic Spinal Cord Injury Fund. Chase is the son of Larry Mann, MD, and Debra Mann of Raleigh. He suffered a paralyzing diving accident while in the Bahamas on a church mission trip in June 2010. The accident confined him to a power wheelchair and astronomical costs for day-to-day care, special equipment and unending rehab. Chase is a 2010 graduate of Broughton High School, where he excelled in cross country and track.
