Webinar for Specialists: Meeting Meaningful Use Requirements for CMS EHR Incentive Payments

Did you know that specialists can claim exclusions to Meaningful Use criteria that do not apply to their specialty as well as enjoy great flexibility in the reporting requirements for quality measures? The NCMS invites you to an overview of the Meaningful Use requirements as they pertain to specialists. Please join us on September 12, 2012 at 12 noon for a one hour webinar. Registration for the webinar is now open.

Terri Gonzalez, NCMS Director of Practice Improvement, provides practices with assistance for EHR selection, training, interface coordination, and upgrades needed to meet Meaningful Use and Patient Centered Medical Home (PCMH) criteria. She works regularly with specialty practices throughout the state, including but not limited to cardiology, dermatology, endocrinology, and primary care, regarding questions from EHR implementation to attestation for CMS incentives. She also has trained over 500 health care professionals on electronic prescribing as well as managed electronic prescribing initiatives in Michigan, Massachusetts, Florida, Ohio, and Illinois. NCMS members receive discounts on these consulting services.
