In light of the proposed merger of Anthem and CIGNA and between Aetna and Humana, the AMA has developed a survey to assess the potential impact this may have on physicians’ practice and patient care. Responses will be used by the North Carolina Medical Society (NCMS) solely for the purpose of petitioning the state and federal government concerning the antitrust issues raised by Aetna’s proposed acquisition of Humana and Anthem’s proposed acquisition of CIGNA.
