The 155th NCMS 2009 Annual Meeting will be held this weekend at the Raleigh Marriott City Center Hotel in the heart of the Capital City. At NCMS online (https://www.compassionatecarenc.org/annualmeeting), you will also find information about Reports and Resolutions that will be considered by the House of Delegates (HOD). Session 1 one of the HOD begins Saturday morning at 9:00 a.m. and will feature remarks by outgoing NCMS President Albert J. Osbahr, MD, of Hickory. Session 2 begins Sunday morning at 9:00 a.m. and will feature keynote Speaker Lanier Cansler, Secretary of the NC Department of Health and Human Services, and remarks by incoming NCMS President Douglas D. Sheets, MD, of Rutherfordton, NC. Dr. Sheets will be formally installed Saturday night and will officially take office at the close of the annual meeting.
