The North Carolina Partnership for Compassionate Care (NCPCC) was formed in 2012 by a group of like-minded individuals seeking to help educate and inform health care providers and North Carolina patients about end-of-life issues. Advisory Committee
This board meets on a monthly basis.
The Advisory Committee is charged to:
- Establish strategic direction, objectives, and alignment of initiatives
- Ensure development of appropriate initiatives for education and advocacy
- Engage and communicate with key stakeholders, including the public practitioners across the health care continuum, special interest groups, and the media
- Evaluate initiatives for quality, attainment of outcomes, and continuous improvement
- Oversee policy development, including legislative enablement and revisions
- Liaise with national POLST Paradigm task force
