Blue Cross and Blue Shield of North Carolina will host its annual State of Preventive Health Summit on Oct. 20, featuring a satellite town hall discussion on the topic, “Is preventive health at risk?” Physicians may register to attend by contacting Kyle Marshall in BCBSNC Corporate Communications at [email protected] for an e-mail invitation with a link to the registration site.

 The summit is scheduled for 9 a.m. to noon, originating from the Raleigh Convention Center with satellite audiences at the Charlotte Westin (601 S. College St.), the Asheville Renaissance Hotel (31 Woodfin St.), and the East Carolina Heart Institute (115 Heart Drive) in Greenville. BCBSNC will present its annual research findings on preventive health and a panel of preventive health experts in North Carolina will take audience questions and comments.
